Interests

Aviation, tennis, Grêmio, history, and a betta fish. Roughly in that order.

Aviation

It started in Joaçaba, watching my dad fly out for work on a small regional airline that doesn't exist anymore. I got into Embry-Riddle with a scholarship and chose not to go, because I wanted aviation to stay a passion and not become a job.

Today I fly X-Plane 12 on my MacBook, which is how xp-flight-review happened. My favorite airplane is the A380, and as a Brazilian I have a soft spot for the Embraer E195-E2. One day I'll get my pilot license and my own airplane.

Tennis

My main sport, and it's becoming my priority. I also taught it for five years, which you can read about in Volunteering. When I'm not on a court I play football and futsal.

Grêmio

I grew up in Porto Alegre, so I support Grêmio, which mostly means suffering on weekends. My favorite player is Arthur.

History

My family is of Polish descent, and the war is part of our story. That's where my interest in history started, especially war history: understanding how the past made the world we live in now.

The fish

I have a betta. Someday the tank will become a cherry shrimp colony, red ones only, because the sand is blue and the blue ones would disappear.
